Situated three miles from Canterbury, Druidstone Park is a twelve acre site that provides a great day out for all the family. The park is set in beautiful countryside, where visitors can explore the enchanted woodland, relax in the idyllic surroundings of the park garden or have fun in the adventure play areas. The character and beauty of each season is encapsulated at Druidstone where you will find an abundance of wildlife and fauna. Around Easter time the woodland is home to a breathtaking display of flowering bluebells; summer brings the dudleja or butterfly tree, into full glorious flower; during autumn you can discover the woodland fungi and take in the changing colours of the trees.
The trail through the enchanted woodland provides much information about the diversity of the trees and animals that live within, as well as allowing you to discover the sleeping dragon and other mystical and magical creatures.
The adventure play area will delight the children, as will the many friendly farmyard animals that are keen to say 'hello', including chickens, peacocks, sheep, alpaca, pony, a donkey and the naughty pigs. A herd of white fallow deer graze within the woods, the pond is home to ducks and geese.
Refreshments and meals are available at the reasonably priced café throughout the day, whilst momentos can be bought from a similary reasonable priced giftshop. There is suitable access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Toilet facilities and ample free parking. Travelling to the park by public transport could not be easier, the bus stops right outside.Druidstone Park is a beautiful haven for reflection and relaxation, away from the everyday hustle and bustle, where children can play and discover in a safe and rural environment whether you stay for a couple of hours or the whole day, there is something for everyone at Druidstone Park.
