The Haryana Tourism owned & operated golf course derives its nomenclature from the Aravallis- a lofty mountain range running across the state of Haryana. Set up in the year 1966, it was the first golf course to be set up in Faridabad, Haryana.
The building was designed by the famous architect Joseph Allan Stein & the course design was done by Stephan Kay, the famous Golf Architect from the U.S.A. The Golf course was taken up by Haryana Tourism in the year 1988 and re-designed by Stephan Kay, a renowned golf architect from USA. Now the course is spread over 75 acres and has a 12 holes facility.
In the Golf Course there is also a provision for billiards, 9 luxurious rooms & a committee room have been added for the Golf lovers. The keen golfers can make a night stay here at the lush green course about 30 km from Delhi and tee off early in the morning.
Its 12 holes play plan is upgarded to 18 holes. The golf course had had the distinction of holding annual Golf tournaments, in which a wide range of amateur and professional golfers participate. Membership to the course is open to both Indian and foreign tourist.
