Shiva Temple, Faridabad, Haryana India

The Shiva temple is a famous religious shrine in Faridabad city. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and his wife Goddess Parvati. There is a huge 22 feet high Shiv Linga in the temple that attracts a lot of visitors. Everyday hundreds of devotees visit the temple to offer prayers.

The Shlokas and mantras in praise of Lord Shiva are narrated and the Rudrabhisheka (a ritual in which the Shiv Linga is bathed with milk and water before it is decorated and offered Prasad or food) of the Lord is performed.
