How to Reach Kurukshetra, India
Kurukshetra by Road:
Kurukshetra is at distance of about 6 km from Pipli, an important road junction on the National Highway No.1 popularly called the Grand Trunk Road. There are two bus stands, one in Kurukshetra and other is at Pipli. Buses of Haryana Roadways and other State Roadways ply through Kurukshetra. There is a good road network in the state that connects all the places in Haryana to each other as well as from the places outside the state boundary like Delhi, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh. There are regular bus services between these places.
Kurukshetra by Train:
Kurukshetra Railway Station, also called the Kurukshetra Junction is located on main Delhi-Ambala Railway line. Kurukshetra is about 160 km from Delhi, 39 km from Karnal and 40 km from Ambala. It is well connected with all important towns and cities of the country. The Shatabadi Express halts here.
Kurukshetra by Air:
The Airports close to Kurukshetra are at Delhi (160 km) and Chandigarh, which are well connected by road and rail.
