Dai Ka Mahal, Mandu, Madhya Pradesh India

Dai Ka Mahal is a tomb of a lady, standing on a lofty basement having rooms with arched openings for the keepers of the tomb. At the north-east and south-east corners, Remains of circular towers may be seen. Upon which on a level with the floor of the tomb pavilions appear to have been built. In the middle of the spacious terrace stands the tomb and on its western fringe is a mosque showing Hindu architectural motifs on brackets and window balustrades. The Tomb is square on plan. The tall octagonal neck of its dome has been ornamental parapet decorated with tiny kiosks which is a feature derived from the qutabshahi domes of the Deccan.
