Built in A.D 1437, Carvan-Sarai is a large inn comprising an extensive court resembling the medieval inns of Europe. The ceilings of the halls are vaulted. The Carvan Sarai or Caravan Sarai at Mandu is an extensive court, resembling the medieval inns of Europe. The video presents here the Carvan Sarai, situated near the Malik Mughith’s Mosque at Mandu in the State of Madhya Pradesh in India.

The Carvan Sarai or Caravan Sarai is a spacious open court with rooms on the sides used for storage of goods. The rooms also provided living accommodation.

Mandu also known as Mandavgad is a ruined city in Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh and can be accessible easily from Indore.
