Regular weekend pig keeping days for anyone with a passion for pigs. Whether you would just like to spend a day petting pigs, want to be prepared for getting your own pigs, or are actually looking to make money from pigs.

We keep a large selection of British Rare Breed pigs of all ages. We have at least one sow farrowing each month. This means that you are able to experience everything from very small piglets, weaners, growers, porkers and baconers, to breeding sows and boars. Depending upon your dates you might even witness a farrowing!

All our courses allow plenty of hands on time with the pigs. We normally spend the majority of the day in with the pigs, looking at the different breeds, feeding, vetting, weighing, loading, and petting them. Our pigs have been handled from birth so are used to people and are generally well behaved. Some even roll over to have their tummies tickled, though they tend not to do this in the wet or at feeding time!

Also note that there are no hidden extras. All course notes, food, drinks etc. are included. The only things you will need to bring are some boots, a change of clothes (in case it is wet or muddy) and a SMILE. You might also like to bring a camera.
