Natural ponds scattered in the complex added an extra charm to the ruins in Lal Bagh. Water is crystal clear and even potable in some of these ponds and it will tempt you to take a dip. I could not resist and jumped inside a pool. Soon after visiting sites in Lal Bagh, I was back to the main road and took another detour towards Nelakantha Palace.
