Huzoor Palace, Porbandar, Gujarat India

The Huzoor Palace in Porbandar was built by Rana Natwarsinhji, the last ruler of the princely state of Porbandar. Constructed during the early 20th century, it is close to the Marine Drive sea shore in the town.

The neo- classical pillars and the porticoes with a semi circular design, the terraces with beautiful rails and the slopping timber roof add to the grandeur of the building.

The porticoes and pillars, of this magnificent palace built in the European style, mark the entrance of the palace from different sides. The large windows and wings of the palace, interconnected with the front and back yard, give a panoramic view of the sea.
