The Asvini Kumara Tirtha is located in Assan village which is about 14 kms towards the east of Jind. The place has also been mentioned in the traditional Mahabharata and the Puranas. It is believed that a dip here in the holy water on Tuesday gives way to salvation and heals the sufferers. The temple has beautiful statues of the two deities and is worshipped with great devotion.
