Talwandi sabo is also known as “Guru Ki Kashi”. While enroute you can encounter with the lush green fields of paddy and wheat depending on the time of the year. The Gurudwara also hosts the festival of Baishaki popular among Punjabis. The colorful festival is celebrated for 2 days on 13th & 14th of every April. The Gurudwara made with white marble also nests the holy sarovar in which the last Guru Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj took a holy dip and completed the recompilation of Guru Granth Sahib, the Eleventh Guru of Sikhishm. The the Hukamnama and the cloths of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and a small match size shape Guru Granth Sahib is also there with one of the villagers in Talwandi Sabo which is displayed on request. One can also enjoy the Langer which runs 24 hours a day which include Prasarda (Roti), Dal and Sabzi. Have the Langer at the Talwandi Sabo Gurudwara and you will feel that you are having the real food of almighty.
