Gir National Park, Amreli, Gujarat India

Gir National Park also known as Sasan Gir is the abode of Asiatic Lions, a protected area from south east of Junagadh to south west of Amreli. Devaliya Park is situated near Sasan Gir and is around 75 kms away from the proposed new zone in Amreli.

The Ambardi Interpretation Zone will be developed in an area of around 400 hectares with financial assistance from Centre as well as the State governments. The proposed new zone would have lions in a closed but natural environment along with a host of other animals. The tourism and forest department will arrange guided bus tours for the tourists visiting Ambardi.
