This temple structure is one of the monument among Khajuraho Group of Monuments, a World Heritage Site in India, situated just besides the grandeur of Vishwanath temple this temple is decorated with the fine sculptures of Lord Shiva and his wedding with Goddess Parvati. The idols of Lord Shiva and Parvati reflect the typical Indo- Aryan sculptures Visually, this is not an interesting shrine. Nearby is a white temple built by a local maharaja about a century ago. Its architecture is a strange melange of idioms, completely alien to the graceful Khajuraho style. This temple also has the deity of Goddess Ganga, the celestial river, who stands on a crocodile. The arch that is above sanctum door depicts sculptures of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. There are also erotic sculptures of couples can be seen on the front wall.
