Pachmarhi Lake is a man made lake but its serene surroundings and vast expanse makes you feel like you are sailing in a natural one. Pachmarhi lake is famous for boating. Horse & camel riding, food stalls are also available for tourist.

This lake is artificially made by stopping a natural water-stream by constructing a small dam. From this lake Dhoopgarh looks like a fort. Like other places of Pachmarhi it is surrounded by lush green trees and has a panoramic view. This is a nice place for enjoying evenings with boating, but to swim here is dangerous.
