The ISKCON Temple at Amritsar is one of the sought after place, to be seen, by the tourists. The temple was built by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). The society has been founded in 1966 in New York City by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. The temple is also known as Sri Sri Gaur Radha Krishna Temple. It is situated in the heart of Amritsar city. ISKCON temple, being one of the tourist attractions of Amritsar, is situated at walking distance from the Golden Temple.
