Gurudwara Nanaksar Tobha, Abohar, Punjab India

Gurudwara Nanaksar Tobha is the most famous religious temple of sikhs, located on Fazilka Road in the city of Abohar. Gurudwara Nanaksar Tobha marks the site, where the first Sikh Guru - Guru Nanak Dev Ji rested near the Pond and it stands as a testimony to his visit. This shrine is a two-storeyed rectangular building, beautifully built with white marble stones and a dome on the top of the building. Sangat and Kirtans are recited with great faith and it is believed that, all wishes aspired with belief and faith get accomplished at this Gurudwara.

A sacred Sarovar, named as Tobha, is situated in the vicinity of this Gurudwara. It is believed that, due to Guru Nanak Dev Ji s visit, this pond posses the holy power to cure the diseases. So, many devotees, frail and sick visit this shrine and take a holy dip in it.
