Goindval (also known as Goindwal Sahib) is a place in TarnTaran district in the state of Punjab in India about 23 km. from City Tarn Taran. It is called axis of Sikhism as it was the first center of Sikhism. The Sikh Guru Arjan Dev was born there on 15 April 1563.
