One of the best place in outskirts to freak out along with family. It is on Simla- Kalka Highway just crossing Panchkula. On the foot hills of Shivalik,it is traditional rajasthani resort where you can have Dal Baati Choorma along with other delicious food items with unforgettable mehmaan navaazi. Here you can have camel ride , watch kalbeliya dance , katputli show, kaala jadoo and gallop lot of Paani Poori. It is just 30 min drive from Sec-17 Chandigarh… I went by my car but this could have been more joyful with this urban SUV as you cross highway for short duration where you zoomin for while.
