Barsi Gate was constructed by Famous ruler Alaudin Khilji. Built in Sultanate style of architecture, the gate was built as a massive defensive structure of Islamic period. It is an embodiment of the splendid architecture that was built at that time. The structure was repaired in the period of Ibrahim Lodhi in the year 1522 AD.
