Darbars were held here by the rulers of Jind. There is a small museum that exhibits weapons and artillery used by the princely rulers. Badges, insignia and hand embroidered shoes can be found in Malerkotla. On the outskirts of the town is situated Idgah Malerkotla. Different styles of architecture are depicted here.
