Sri Ramakrishna Math, Kamarpukur, West Bengal India

This Math and Mission Centres were both founded in the year 1947. The Math centre preserves the sacred place where Sri Ramakrishnadeva was born, as also his ancestral home.

Ramakrishna Math in Kamarpukur, Hooghly district of West Bengal is a highly revered pilgrimage place and offers peace of mind and relaxing moments to the visitors. Ramakrishna Math was founded in 1947. This Math preserves the sacred birth place of Sri Ramakrishna Pramhamsa and also contains the ancestral home.

The Math conducts daily worship sessions, religious classes and many practice classes of spiritual and physical exercises like Yoga and meditation. It observes religious festivals and birthdays of known religious personalities. Ramakrishna Mission is associated with this Math under the guidance of the Headquarters. They also run a mini jute mill for training unemployed rural youth.
