One of the ancient temples in the town, Madan Mohan temple is situated near the Kali Ghat at a height of 60 ft. The temple was made by Kapur Ram Das of Multan in the year 1580. The beautiful temple is dedicated to Lord Madan Gopal and the nearby attractions include Samadhi of Sanatana Goswami and Bhajan Kuthir.
During the reign of Mughul ruler, Aurangzeb, the deity was shifted to Karauli in Rajasthan. Presently, the replica of that idol is enshrined and worshipped at this temple. Behind the temple, tourists can see the Bhajan Kuthir and Samadhi of Sanatana Goswami.
