Ludhiana Christ King Church, Ludhiana, Punjab India

The Christ King Church (Sahnewal) is a huge holy shrine of Christ, located in the city of Ludhiana.  The prayer hall of this church has the seating capacity of about 3000 and is considerend one among the best and huge in terms of sculpture and seating capacity in Northern India.This church was inaugurated on 29th August 2004 by Cardinal Telesphore P.Toppo, president of the Catholic Bishop Conference of India. This church has a great architecture and is believed to be the first of its kind in the northern region in terms of architecture, capacity and design. The ceiling of this church is decorated with frescoes, paintings of angels and special murals and it obtained the special work of art from Kerala.
