Joranda Falls, Rourkela, Orissa India

Barehipani, Joranda Falls are in the Simlipal National Park in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha State or Orissa (old name of the state).

Barehipani and Joranda Falls are regarded as among the highest falls in India. Barehipan Falls is a two tiered 399 meters high fall. While the closest railhead is at Balasore (76 kms), Kolkatta (240 kms) has the nearest airport. Joranda Falls plunges over a cliff of 150 meters in height. 

The Joranda Falls is located in the core area of Simlipal National Park in Mayurbhanj district in the Indian state of Orissa. The Barehipani Falls is located close to the Joranda Falls. It is the 19th highest waterfall in India. The Joranda Falls has a total height of 150 metres (490 ft). The water plunges over a lofty cliff in a single drop, spreading out slightly as it falls.
