Gurudwara Manji Sahib, Ludhiana, Punjab India

Gurudwara Shri Manji Sahib of Alamgir is one of the popular Gurudwaras of Ludhiana, well-known as Gurudwara Alamgir Sahib - located in the village of Alamgir, Ludhiana. It is a huge double-storeyed rectangular structure, with a big dome on the top of the building and is beautifully surrounded with green lush garden. A big langar hall is situated in the Gurudwara, which is believed to be one of the largest among all Sikh religious shrines. There is a sacred tank, Tirsar (spring) located in the vicinity of this Gurudwara - it is said that, the water of this holy tank cures the diseases like leprosy. A huge fair is held in the last week of December at this Gurudwara, where many number of visitors visit this place.
