Earlier Kot and Kasta were separate Villages - Village Kot inside the Fort and Village Kasta outside the Fort and are now known as unified Kot Kasta. Maharaja Man Singh (1803-1817 A.D.) of Jodhpur had great respect for Yogi Naths and he gave the estate of Village Kasta to Yogi Bheemnath. This Nath's Fort was built on the top of a hill by Maharaja Man Singh in the early 19th Century A.D. It is surrounded by a defensive wall. In building this wall, mountain was also used as a wall. One big wall was also made outside the boundary of this Fort and two big and two small gates were made for entry. It consists of three-storeyed palace rampart, tower and huge entry gate and many other structures can be found. There are places for firing artillery and gunfire in the defensive walls. On both sides of the main gate of the Fort, there are big platforms. The main gate is made of wood and is now in half-broken condition.
