Bhuvaneshwari Temple, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand India

The name Bhuvaneshwari can be split in to two, where, Bhuvanam depicts universe and Easwari depicting Ruler. Hence, Goddess Bhuvaneshwari is treated as the ruler of universe and Universal mother. Being located at Telco on top of a small hill, this Temple offers a birds eye view of the entire city and the natural surroundings give a breathtaking view along with the traveling river. Spiritual and serene touch of the environment adds more beauty to the premises of temple. Also within the temple campus is the famous Guruvayur temple. Vedic learning project has been started by the officials of the temple by launching informal classes.
