Dimna Lake is a very popular weekend trip both among the tourists and local people. Dimna Lake is situated 13 km from the steel city of Jamshedpur. It is hardly half an hour drive away from the city which can be covered either on a bus or a private car. The Dimna Lake is located in the Mirzadih Panchayat of Patamda Block.

The Dimna Lake is a man made lake constructed by the Tata Steel. The artificial water reservoir was built to fulfill the water requirement for its plant and the city. Tourists throng the place throughout the year, especially during the winter season in the months. From November to February maximum number of tourists comes here. It is simply amazing to view the vast blue water of the lake with the reflection of the beautiful surrounding flashing on it.

The Dimna Lake is located at a panoramic surrounding at the foot of Dalma Hills. The vast lake surrounded by huge mountains is an ideal destination for outing. The lake also provides boating facilities for the tourists. There are also facilities of some other forms of water sports like jet skiing and rowing.
