How to Reach Tonk, India
Tonk is located along National Highway 12 and it is connected to places such as Jaipur and Jablapur by road. Buses connect the town to these places and these are inexpensive as well. Tickets from Jaipur will cost around Rs 50.Tonk by Train:
Few trains pass through the Tonk Railway Station, and this railway station is located along the Mumbai to Delhi route and most of the trains along this route stop here. Tickets from Delhi to Tonk cost around Rs 150. Trains are a comfortable way to travel.
Tonk by Air:
The closest airport is located in the town of Jaipur and this is situated around 82 km from the town. The Jaipur airport is an international airport and it is well connected to many cities in the country. The airport receives flights from places such as Mumbai, Delhi, Udaipur, Jodhpur and a few other cities. International flights also land at the Jaipur airport on a frequent basis and this is an ideal all round option. Since the distance to the town is only 82 km the best option is to hire a taxi. Taxis charge around Rs 1000 for the trip and are comfortable.
