Teesta River originates from the Tso Lhamo Lake in the North Sikkim and forms a natural border between the West Bengal and Sikkim. Ultimately, this 315 km long river flows into the Brahmaputra River. Various rivulets arising from the Thangu, Donkia-La and Yumthang Ranges join this river. The main tributary, River Rangeet, joins River Teesta just before the Teesta Bridge. e Teesta River is ideal for white water rafting.
