Satkosia Tiger Reserve, Satkosia-Wildlife-Sanctuary, Orissa India

Spread over the splendid gorge over the vigorous River Mahanadi in Orissa, Satkosia Wildlife Sanctuary Orissa was founded in 1976. The nature lovers can get lots of picturesque beauty at Satkosia. Considered among the best ecosystems in India, Satkosia represents a varied flora and fauna. Later in 2007, the region was declared as the Satkosia Tiger Reserve Orissa, which consists of two adjoining wildlife sanctuaries – the Satkosia Gorge Sanctuary and Baisipalli Sanctuary. The tiger reserve sprawls over 4 districts – Angul, Cuttack, Nayagarh and Boudh. Satkosia Sanctuary in Orissa is visited by a number of people who want to fill lots of thrill in their life.
