Sadni Falls, Netarhat, Jharkhand India

The Sadni Falls located 35 kms from Netarhat is also equally appreciable. Destinations like Gaya, Bodh Gaya, Ranchi, Daltongunj and Rajgir are also closer to Netarhat.Sadni falls is located at 23 degree 17" N and 84 degree14" E. These are one of the most attractive waterfalls which are located on the Sankha River. These are one of the snake type water falls which add to the scenic beauty of the region. Located at a height of 934 m the water fall provides one of the best tourist spot in Jharkhand. With a height of 200 ft or 60metres this water fall is surrounded with spectacular hillocks, forests and streams.

Besides its scenic beauty this water falls is also known for the age old diamond reserve which used to produce quality diamonds in the past. Though at the present, the water falls do not produce any more diamond reserves. These were some active reserves in the sixteenth and seventeenth century.

Thus as a major tourist sight Sadni water falls attract a large number of tourists who visit the area to enjoy the splendid sight of the place.
