Gwalior Municipal Museum, established in 1922, is situated in the Moti Mahal Campus, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The museum exhibits a rich collection of artifacts including the specimens pertaining to natural history, archaeology and anthropology, ivory crafts, armory, paintings, wood, stone and bronze images, sculptures and ancient coins. Other objects showcased here include tribal and folk art, textiles, musical instruments, costumes, manuscripts, fossils, rocks and minerals, porcelain and iron objects.
