Mundali is situated 126 from DehraDun via Chakrata. From Chakrata to Mundali is 36km. It is around 2.5 km from Dharagarh and is surrounded by lush green forest. Mundali offers an unfogettable view of snow capped himalayas. The place has vast ski slopes on which professionals can enjoy skiing.

Accommodation facility is only available at Forest Rest House and therefore it advisable that one ensures accommodation through the Forest Department, before starting the trip.

Summer months April-June for trekking and winter months November-December are the best months for skiing in Mundali.Forest Rest House with two beds in each room run by the forest department of Uttarakhand is the only place for accommodation. You can either stay in Chakrata or Mundali. In Chakrata you have more options than just the forest rest house. There are private hotels as well.
