Mool Raj Sagar Jaisalmer adorned with stone pavilions and fountains is beautifully placed amidst green gardens. The luxurious property has a distinct historical flavour and located at a quiet corner in the city.

Maharawal Mool Raj II created Mool Sagar in 1780. The property is comprised of delightful stone pavilions and fountains, set within wonderful green gardens and 18 tents which have been handmade by traditional artisans. The tents have been designed to recreate the early 20th century camps of the Jodhpur Maharajas and feature king size beds, carpeted floors, gorgeous period furniture and en-suite bathrooms.

The tents are heated in the winter months, and air-cooled in the warmer months. There is a swimming pool, shop, small business centre and a dining tent serving sumptuous local cuisine. You can also enjoy folk dances and live music during your stay or a picnic in the dunes.

Excursions for camel safaris, desert dune trips and sightseeing in Jaisalmer can easily be organised from Mool Sagar. One of the most famous of these is the Jaisalmer Fort which was built in 1156 by the Bhati Rajput ruler Jaisal and houses the majestic Raj Mahal (Royal palace), Jain temples and the Laxminath temple.
