The Kane Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the West Siang district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The sanctuary is spread over an area of 55 sq kms. The wildlife sanctuary is bounded to the north and the west by the Siji River and its tributary. The Kane Wildlife Sanctuary though was declared earlier in 1991 as a sanctuary, but it was notified in April 2007 with an initial area of 31 sq kms, which was later expanded to the present 55 sq kms.
The sanctuary is spread over an area of 55 sq. Kms and is blessed with rich and varied flora and fauna. Animal species that can be seen in this sanctuary includes Deer, Cats and Elephants. October to April are the best months to visit this sanctuary.
Kane Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the north-eastern state of India, Arunachal Pradesh, India. Though smaller in area, the sanctuary is home to unbelievable variety of wildlife which attracts the nature lovers from all over the World. The main attractions here include wild cats, deer, elephants and many more fascinating creatures.
This place is perfect destination to spend some quality time. The peaceful surrounding and climatic conditions are simply incomparable. The ideal period to visit the Kane Wildlife Sanctuary is October to April.
