Kadathanadan Kalari Centre is prominent for Kalaripayattu martial arts. The martial art is believed to be 3000 year old; credit goes to Parshuram, the ancient sage and the master of all martial art forms. Kalaripayattu was evolved in Kerala, the green paradise on Earth. The world famous Kingu fu is a subsidiary of it, popularized by the monks of Shaoloine temple traces its ancestry to Bodhi Dharma-an Indian Buddhist monk and Kalaripayattu master.

Legend- According to Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva has taught Parshuram the art of Kalaripayattu. And Parshuram passed his teachings to only 21 Brahmins to protect his land from invaders.
