Panchalimedu is an ideal place for trekking. This view point, named after Panchali the wife of Pandavas according to Hindu legend, is just 10 km. away from the resort. The Panchalikulam, where Panchali is believed to have taken a bath is one of the major attractions of this location. The divine light 'Makara Jyothi' of the famous hindu pilgrimage center "Sabarimala" can be viewed from this place.
