Deogarh Fort, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh India

The fort is also known by the name Deogarh fort. One of the historical capital building ruled in the old times by the Gond kingdom’s main Bhakt Bulund King. According to historical aspects the fort is about 3 centuries old. Gond Kingdom rules over here during this tenure. The fort is situated in the west of Chhindwara, around 40 kilometers away from the bus stand. The Mahal was built by the Ajanbahu Jatbasha also known as the Jatav or Jatba (Founder of Gond dynasty). The forts of Patansaongi and Nagardhan in Nagpur District are attributed to him.
