Chetiagaon is situated in Lakhimpur District of Assam. It is bounded by Gogamukh (12 km) and Bordoloni (11 km) in the north and Dhapaliagaon (4 km) and Dhakuakhana (13 km) in the south.

Chetia Gaon one of the well known tourist sites situated in North Lakhimpur. Tourists visiting Majuli often make a trip to Chetia Gaon to enjoy the beauty of the Subansiri River one of the biggest rivers in Assam after the mighty Brahmaputra.
