The Camel Festival is held in the month of January and starts with a parade of camels from the Junagadh Fort. The camels are beautifully decorated with bridles and saddles.

In the month of July-August, the Gangaur Festival is held. The festival starts a day prior to Holi, the festival of colours. This is an 18-day long festival dedicated to Goddess Parvati. During the festival, women wear traditional dresses and take out processions on streets carrying beautifully images of Goddess Parvati.
