Jainti is a small forest village located on the banks of River Jayanti within the Buxa Tiger Reserve forming a natural border with the Bhutan Hills. This place is very popular with the hikers and nature lovers for the beautiful views and the surrounding environment blessed with an array of flora & fauna. There is a 13 kilometer trek from Buxaduar to Jainti passing around wild fountains and dense forest. The Forest Department of this reserve maintains provisions for lodging and camping here for visitors to the Buxa Tiger Reserve.
