Budhni, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh India

Budhni is located on the Bhopal Hosahngabad road almost 10 km away from Hoshangabad towards north on the banks of Narmada River. Budhni is almost 69 km far from the city of Bhopal. There are a few villages situated near this town like Aankhmau, Bachwada, Ganera, Gora, Nasirabad, Baglon etc.

Budhni is situated close to the Vindhyavasni Devi Siddhpeeth at Salkanpur. It is located on top of a hill and is considered holy and sacrosanct by the locals. It is a popular pilgrimage and numerous devotes visit the site daily by climbing a steep staircase. A majestic temple is being constructed on the peak of the hill. Budhni Ghat is also an important location for the inhabitants of Budhni. It is mainly used for swimming, but many other activities are also conducted here.
