How to Reach Bokaro, India
Bokaro by Road:
The city is well connected through buses to all parts of the state. Buses are mostly government run, and these are not too comfortable. Bus fares from Bokaro City to Jamshedpur will be lesser than Rs 50. Bus tickets will be readily available, and this will be a comfortable mode of travel for last minute plans.
Bokaro by Train:
Bokaro City is well connected through trains, and has an extensive railway network with trains that connect all major cities in India to Bokaro City. You will be able to get regular trains from the Indian cities of Ranchi (Shatabdi Exp), Howrah (Shaktipunj Exp), Patna (Barka Rjpb Exp), Dhanbad (Shaktipunj Exp) and Kolkata (Shatabdi Exp). Trains to smaller cities like Ajmer will also be available.
Bokaro by Air:
The nearest domestic airport is at Ranchi, which is around 120 km from Bokaro and has limited connectivity from other airports in India. The nearest international airport is at Kolkata, which is around 319 km from Bokaro.
