It is situated at the distance of 10 km from Maheshpur Block HQ. There was a bitter battle fought between the local Rajput chief Raja Udit Narayan Singh & Nabab Murshid Kuli Khan of Murshidabad in the early 18th century. The ruins of the fort can still be seen.
