by Road:
Most people prefer to drive the distance. NH 37 is in excellent condition and the road passes through the Kaziranga National Park. There are watch sheds at vantage points along the highway and you can see rhinos, elephants and other animals on the marsh lands a little distance off.
by Train:
The nearest railhead is at Rangapara at Tezpur. There are local taxis and buses that regularly ply the route.
by Air:
Bhalukpong does not have an airport. The nearest airport is in Tezpur. From Tezpur drive up the 52 kms to Bhalukpong either in a taxi.
