Tibetan Refugee Settlement Camp, Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh India

The Tibetan Refugee Camp in Changlang is another prominent sightseeing attraction. It is the oldest settlements of Tibetan refugees in the place and is situated at 4 km from Miao. This camp is popular for producing quality carpets out of cotton yarns and wool brought from Panipat. These carpets are largely sold in the global market.

The camp comprises of 26 high-skilled women weavers and six male counterparts that work on these carpets and report to the settlement officer at the camp. This camp also houses 500 families having 2800 members making it the 45th largest refugee settlement of India and 75th in the world.
