The Dehing Satra, Dibrugarh, Assam India

The Dehing Satra is a famous religious place. It is said that many rulers, emperors and kings visited this place worship. Many patronages of kings such as Gaurinath Singha and Rajeshwar Singha upraised during the reign of Moamoria. The place is nearly in ruins today but still holds its aura among the local people who come here to worship. This place is located on the banks of Dehing River and it also makes a great picnic spot.
