Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is one of the largest biosphere reserves in India, situated near Dibrugarh. The park is surrounded by river Brahamputra on one side and Lohit River on other side. The national park lies on the boundary of Dibrugarh and Tinsukia District. The entire national park is etched with rain forests, tropical deciduous forests and grasslands that provide shelter to a variety of animals and birds. The most common among all the animals are chital, deer, tiger, bear and different kinds of monkeys.
