The Old Rangji temple dates back to 1823, when it was built by Seth Puran Mal Ganeriwal of Hyderabad. Dedicated to Lord Rangji, the temple boasts a high spiritual significance. Lord Rangji is believed to be the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Hence, it will invariably attract a lot of devotees. They come from various far off corners of the world to offer their prayers. However, the devotees are not the only people responsible for such a high tourist count. It also attracts a lot of regular tourists as well. On visiting the temple, they get a fair idea about the various rituals and beliefs of Hindu religion.
Moreover, the superb architecture with a blend of South Indian style, Mughal style and Rajput style offers a great sight. The various features of the temple's architecture is indeed a must watch for tourists. It reflects a lot of grace. Features like the high rising Gopuram archetypal of southern India adds a lot of beauty to the temple. Though most of the devotees visit the temple for its spiritual importance but the splendid architecture of the temple is a major draw for regular tourists.
